Copyright Policy

This policy is intended to prevent damage to users caused by unauthorized use, alteration, or commercial exploitation of information provided through the KOCHET website without proper indication of the source.

All materials provided on the KOCHET website are works protected under copyright law, and users must comply with the copyright policy set out below.

(1) Pursuant to Article 24-2 of the Copyright Act, works for which KOCHET holds the entire economic rights may be freely used without separate permission and free of charge.

However, works that may be freely used are marked with the “Korea Open Government License (KOGL) Type 1”. Please confirm that the work is marked accordingly before using it. When using such works, the source must be clearly indicated.

(2) The KOCHET website also provides materials for which KOCHET does not hold the full copyright. In addition, many materials are provided free of charge by affiliated or commissioned organizations, related institutions, and private entities in order to share various KOCHET-related news. To freely use such materials, you must obtain permission from the respective copyright holder.

In other words, if you wish to use materials that are not marked with a KOGL label, you must consult with the relevant contact person in advance.

(3) If copyrighted materials from the KOCHET website are directly linked and displayed on other websites, users of those sites may overlook this copyright policy. Therefore, when linking such materials, please also link to this copyright policy.

(4) Among the materials made available on the website, some are works for which KOCHET does not hold full copyright (for example, works for which copyright is shared with other authors). For such materials, any use beyond simple viewing — including unauthorized modification, reproduction, distribution, or adaptation — is prohibited. Violation of this policy may result in legal sanctions under applicable laws.
